Klaproos opened its doors in May 2018 and is one of the cosiest creative locations in Amsterdam Noord.
There is much to experience in this former warehouse, from an inspiring exhibition space to a popup pizzeria
and wine bar. Moreover, the location itself is around the corner from the NDSM whaft, very near the spot
where Rembrandt produced his well-well-known sketch of Elsje Christiaens.

Art dealer Jan Six studied art history and archaeology at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). For
five years, he worked at Sotheby’s auction house, the last two years of which he was head of the
Old Masters department in Amsterdam. In 2009 he started Jan Six Fine Art (www.jansix.nl). Jan
also collects modern art.
Oscar van der Voorn is the owner of GO Gallery (www.gogallery.nl), the first street-art gallery in
the Netherlands. He has curated and organised more than 200 expositions and art events, and he
is a three-time winner of the Dutch Street Art Awards (2016, 2017, 2018). Oscar is also the co-
founder of Stichting Amsterdam Street Art, the largest street-art organisation in the Netherlands.
Bertjan ter Braak is an art journalist. Following his studies in history, he began as a freelancer
specialising in subjects such as international relations and art. In 1987, he joined De Telegraaf,
where he became Editor-in-Chief for Foreign Affairs; from 2009–2016, he headed the Art editorial
department. Presently, Bertjan writes (book) reviews.

Noreen van Holstein - founder of the RMBRNDT.NU project
A resident of India for the past 16 years, she has already developed various social and cultural programs
such as Cards4U - freecards www.cards4ucompany.com, the Waste Bar, the LaLaLand festival, and
programs and events at the Museum of Goa (MOG) www.museumofgoa.com.
Lalita de Goederen - van Lamsweerde - Lalita de Goederen - van Lamsweerde is the face of
RMBRNDT.NU in Amsterdam. Lalita comes from a family of creators engaged with many forms of modern
art. Lalita has a communications consultancy (START.PR) and organises charitable projects in the art and
culture sectors. With her niece, she established a foundation for schoolchildren in Haïti (Bon Timoun
Foundation). In addition, she is a board member of the Society of Friends of the Rembrandthuis Museum in
Amsterdam. She lived and worked for eight years in India where she set up the Bagels Cafe, a Western-style
lunchroom with several locations in New Delhi.
Inge Voogel - General Project Support
Art is a leitmotif in Voogel’s life. She counts impressionism - but also expressionism - among her favourite art
movements. She has been living in India for almost 20 years. Through her contribution to the RMBRNDT.NU
project, she not only builds a bridge to her own roots but she also brings her family closer to the Dutch
masters and modern art.
Louise ten Bosch - General Communication and Social Media
Louise recently completed her bachelor’s degree and participated in the collaborative arts project The Giant
Doll’s House Project www.giantdollshouse.org. In September she will begin a master’s program in conflict
resolution and governance.
Jolene Prins - Exhibition Design
Jolene is a managing partner in the communications firm THEY VISUALIZE VALUE. Previously, she has
founded several successful companies, including an event-planning agency and an often-copied and high
acclaimed fashion trade school and children’s clothing line for the Indian market.
